My stay at Hotel Alegria Seogwipo had its ups and downs. The view from my room was stunning, and I appreciated the central location with plenty of dining options around. However, the lack of proper temperature control made things quite uncomfortable at times.
Rooms
6.0
I stayed in the Premier Twin Room with Sea View. While it was generally okay for the price, the large windows let in too much heat since there was no AC during winter.
Service
5.0
The staff were accommodating for a last-minute reservation, but I found them lacking when I requested assistance with my room's temperature issue.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, with many restaurants nearby and easy access to the market. I loved that it was near the bus stop for exploring the area.
Dining
6.0
Dining options around were plentiful, but the hotel's own offerings felt very simple and average.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent facilities, but my room did show signs of wear. like the damaged wall covered with masking tape.

I had a good stay overall at Hotel Alegria Seogwipo, thanks to its excellent location near restaurants and markets. The room was clean and spacious, but I did face a couple of issues, including a window that wouldn't close properly and some minor maintenance needs. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciated the value for money and the helpful staff.
Rooms
7.0
The deluxe twin room was clean and spacious, feeling cozy and inviting. However, I noticed that it could use some repairs, as one wall had a hole covered with masking tape, which wasn't ideal.
Service
8.0
The reception was really helpful, assisting me in getting a local taxi driver and translating my itinerary into Korean for better communication.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect, with an array of dining options and only a 5-7 minute walk to the Olle market. I loved being close to the famous waterfalls and natural pools.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent, though I would have loved more variety on the menu. While the food was good, it didn't entirely meet my expectations in terms of selection.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were reasonable, but I noticed the bathroom design wasn't ideal, as the sink and toilet weren't separated, leaving the whole floor wet after a shower.

6.2/10
My stay at Hotel Alegria Seogwipo was a mix of highs and lows. The central location made it easy to explore the area, and I appreciated the ample parking space. Unfortunately, I had trouble with room comfort, especially on the first night due to a drafty window and the inadequate repairs of the room's wall. Overall, I'd rate it a solid experience, but improvements are needed.
Rooms
7.0
My deluxe twin room was fairly clean and matched the photos, but the beds felt a bit small, even by Asian standards. Repair work in the room was not thorough, leaving me a little disappointed.
Service
6.5
The staff was accommodating, especially when I raised concerns about the window issue. However, the lack of staff availability during certain hours was a bit unsettling.
Location
9.0
The hotel is wonderfully situated in the heart of Seogwipo, making it easy to access local restaurants, shops, and the Olle market within a short walk.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast options could use more variety; I was hoping for a bit more gourmet flair based on what I had heard.
Facilities
6.5
Facilities were standard, but I appreciated the cleanliness. Yet, the bathroom layout was inconvenient as everything got wet when showering.
